The weekend is here and we have a fun list for you. From a festival that comes from a colorful continent to a concert by a world famous hip hop artist, this weekend sure does pack a punch! Read on to fill in your weekend schedule:

We are loving the vibes at the African fest. Home made African food, hair braiding, African music by the beach, It's a happy carnival in Doha. We highly recommend this festival to those looking to visit a vibrant, happy and colorful festival. Also, beautiful made to measure traditional African outfits are available (complete with a hat!). Go if you want to immerse yourself in this beautiful African culture.

Club nights

Do you have your dancing shoes on? Dj Suzee X and Dj Tarkan  promise to make you move to their tunes all night long. A regular haunt for people out there who like to party in style.

SkyNight on Friday with DJ Chris Hughes and DJ Yasser Zain playing top 40 mixes and mash ups. It is a beach side event, so good weather and good music

The Thai new year is being celebrated by the beach. Enjoy spectacular curries and Thai specialties prepared by the beach. The event opens at 7 pm and goes on till 11 pm. Prices are 280 QR (without alcohol) and 395 QR (with alcohol)

First Sean Paul, now Akon! Don't feel too lonely as world famous music producer and performer will be hitting the sands of Doha. Apart from his much-awaited beautiful performance, there will be a mash up of EDM and Urban from local DJs. This event is happening by the beachside. (and we are beginning to wonder if all the beaches are being taken up this weekend!)
