If you want to discount the drama and just plain see how an auction works, head to Katara Cultural Village at Building 5 to witness one in Contemporary Art. Art works by Middle Eastern as well as international artists will be displayed (and up for sale). And it doesn't stop at just paintings, you can expect modern and contemporary art in various media from installation to photography, sculpture and painting.

If you like all things Spanish, you are going to love what InterContinental Doha has in store for you. A Spanish Food festival, complete with all the works.
